Oregon High School Basketball - Crater holds off Mazama
January 3, 2023: Central Point, OR 97502 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Crater Comets (Central Point, OR) and the visiting Mazama Vikings (Klamath Falls, OR), saw Crater's basketball squad hold off Mazama by a tally of 50-49.
With the victory, Crater improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Springfield (Springfield, OR) to confront the Millers in a 5A Midwestern challenge on Friday, January 6. The Millers come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Springfield lost 41-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Willamette (Eugene, OR)
Next up, the Vikings confront the North Bend Bulldogs (North Bend, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Mazama will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 76-69 non-league win over Douglas (Winston, OR).
