The Liberty Red Devils basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Crescent Tigers to 35 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Landrum for a AA Region 1 contest on Thursday, January 5. Liberty will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 61-39 non-league win over Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-3.

The Tigers (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Seneca (Seneca, SC). The Bobcats enter the AAA Region 1 contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Seneca was nudged by Wren (Piedmont, SC), 65-52, in a non-league contest.
