January 3, 2023: Vandergrift, PA 15690 In Tuesday's league outing, the Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) basketball squad felled the visiting Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA), by a margin of 72-57.
The Cavaliers (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Panthers go into the WPIAL 5A 3 outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Franklin Regional thwarted Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA), 60-48, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host McKeesport for a WPIAL 5A 3 outing on Friday, January 6. Greater Latrobe will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 74-65 league loss to Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-7.
