January 3, 2023: Idaho Falls, ID 83406 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hillcrest Knights (Idaho Falls, ID) and the visiting Madison Bobcats (Rexburg, ID), saw Hillcrest's basketball squad hold off Madison by a tally of 62-58.
With the victory, Hillcrest improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Skyline (Idaho Falls, ID) to play the Grizzlies in a 4A High Country challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Skyline lost 80-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Thunder Ridge (Idaho Falls, ID)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Rigby Trojans (Rigby, ID) in a 5A High Country challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Madison will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 65-55 non-league win over Bonneville (Idaho Falls, ID).
