January 3, 2023: Marion, OH 43302 The Marion Harding Presidents (Marion, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Indian Lake Lakers (Lewistown, OH), 48-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Presidents (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Ontario (Mansfield, OH). The Warriors go into the Mid-Ohio - Red test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Ontario was tipped by Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH), 72-63, in a non-league test.
The Lakers now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Urbana for a Central Buckeye - Mad River test on Friday, January 6. Indian Lake will encounter a Hillclimbers squad coming off a 62-49 non-league win over Shawnee (Springfield, OH). The Hillclimbers record now stands at 7-2.
