New York High School Basketball - Scotia-Glenville ripped by Lansingburgh
January 3, 2023: Scotia, NY 12302 The Lansingburgh Knights basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Scotia-Glenville Tartans to 48 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Salle Institute for a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty contest on Thursday, January 5. Lansingburgh will battle a Cadets team coming off a 72-59 non-league loss to Catholic Central (Troy, NY). The Cadets record now stands at 4-4.
The Tartans (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY). The Rams enter the Section 2 Foothills contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Amsterdam triumphed over Gloversville (Gloversville, NY), 69-58, in a league contest.
