New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Lunas holds off Organ Mountain
January 3, 2023: Las Cruces, NM 88001 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) and the host Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM), saw Los Lunas's basketball squad hold off Organ Mountain by a tally of 58-56.
With the victory, Los Lunas improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Alamogordo won 45-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Harmony Science Academy (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Knights confront the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Organ Mountain will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record.
