Maine High School Basketball - Temple Academy overwhelmed by Richmond
January 3, 2023: Richmond, ME 04357 The Richmond Bobcats basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Temple Academy Bereans to 23 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vinalhaven for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Richmond will battle a Vikings team coming off a 64-51 league win over Temple Academy (Waterville, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 2-2.
The Bereans (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Wiscasset was routed by Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME), 67-37, in a non-league contest.
