The Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Schuylkill Valley Panthers (Leesport, PA), 56-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Blue Raiders (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA). The Cardinals go into the Schuylkill County 1 test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Pine Grove went down by Freedom (Bethlehem, PA), 71-38, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Hamburg for a Berks County 3 test on Tuesday, January 10.
