California High School Basketball - Vasquez can't hold off The Palmdale Aerospace Academy

The The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Vasquez Mustangs to 49 in the Griffins league triumph on Tuesday.

The Griffins now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Monica Academy for a Heritage contest on Thursday, January 5. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 78-47 league loss to Valley Torah (Valley Village, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-9.

The Mustangs (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA). The Contenders enter the Heritage contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Faith Baptist nudged Trinity Classical Academy (Valencia, CA), 85-62, in a league contest.
