Wisconsin High School Basketball - Valders topped by Xavier
January 3, 2023: Valders, WI 54245 The Xavier Hawks basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Valders Vikings to 60 in the Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New London for a Bay contest on Friday, January 6. Xavier will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-43 non-league win over Freedom (Freedom, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-1.
The Vikings (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against New Holstein (New Holstein, WI). The Huskies come into the Eastern Wisconsin contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, New Holstein dropped by Manitowoc Lutheran (Manitowoc, WI), 69-65, in a non-league contest.
