The Mustangs now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrison for a Jack Pine battle on Friday, January 6. Meridian will confront a Hornets team coming off a 51-41 league loss to Shepherd (Shepherd, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 1-6.
The Falcons (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Garber (Essexville, MI). The Dukes come into the Tri-Valley - East battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Garber was nudged by Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI), 65-55, in a non-league battle.
