Wisconsin High School Basketball - Riverdale nips North Crawford
January 3, 2023: Muscoda, WI 53573 Riverdale Chieftains (Muscoda, WI) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Crawford Trojans (Soldiers Grove, WI), 45-40 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Riverdale improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI) to confront the Pointers in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Pointers come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Mineral Point lost 55-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Monona Grove (Monona, WI)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Kickapoo Panthers (Viola, WI) in a Ridge & Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 5. North Crawford will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 38-30 non-league loss to Westby (Westby, WI).
