In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Perquimans Pirates basketball team scored a decisive 69-44 triumph over the Washington County Panthers.

In their next game, the Pirates meet the Tarboro Vikings (Tarboro, NC) in a 1A Conference 2 match, on Friday, January 6. Perquimans will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record.
