Game Summary
We had a sluggish start but did manage to put together several promising opportunities in the opening frame, all of which led to a nil-nil halftime score. Tyler, again named Player of the Game, got us on the board less than aminute into the second half when Kylie took a ball close to the the six, and when her progress was stymied she passed it back to Tyler, whose hard, high shot from about 30 yards out bested their keeper’s reach. With 14 remaining Pandora popped one out to Rhea just outside the 6, and she slugged it into the bottom left 90 for the score. In the last 2 minutes Pandora sent a perfect pass to Tyler on our side of midfield and she dribbled past their last defender deep into their end to strike from the middle of the 18-yard box for our final tally. We totaled 27 shots/16 on goal, while holding them shotless. Nice to begin the new year with our second victory.
