On a night that saw a lot of action but not alot of scoring the Avon Lake Shoremen Hockey team fell to the Amherst Comets by a final score of 1-0.
The only scoring of the game came in the 2nd period when Amherst was able to get a bouncing puck out of the Shoremens offensive zone for a breakaway and capitalize.
Junior Asher Shoop had a great game stopping 13 of 14 shots but too many penalties and missed opportunities hurt the Shoremen and they're chances to tie the game.
