North Carolina High School Basketball - Triton fells Westover

January 3, 2023: Fayetteville, NC 28303

Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC), 62-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Triton upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Hawks host Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Western Harnett lost 55-40 in their recent non-league bout against Union Pines (Cameron, NC)

Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Westover will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 9-0 record after their 67-26 non-league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).
