Georgia High School Basketball - Allatoona tops Sequoyah
January 3, 2024: Acworth, GA 30101 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA) and the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA), saw Allatoona's basketball squad knock off Sequoyah by a count of 71-58.
With the victory, Allatoona upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Woodstock (Woodstock, GA) to play the Wolverines in a AAAAAA Region 6 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Woodstock won 67-48 in their recent league challenge against Creekview (Canton, GA)
Next up, the Chiefs play the Rome Wolves (Rome, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Sequoyah will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 89-51 league loss to Etowah (Woodstock, GA).
