The Lighthouse Christian Lions basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Carey Panthers to 56 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hansen for a 1A I Snake River contest on Tuesday, January 9. Lighthouse Christian will battle a Huskies team coming off a 56-43 league loss to Murtaugh (Murtaugh, ID). The Huskies record now stands at 2-8.

The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Castleford (Castleford, ID). The Wolves enter the 1A I Snake River contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Castleford nudged Raft River (Malta, ID), 75-52, in a non-league contest.
