Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host State College Little Lions (State College, PA), 66-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Carlisle upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Thundering Herd host Altoona (Altoona, PA) to play the Mountain Lions in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth bout on Friday, January 5. The Mountain Lions come into the bout with a record of 0-10. Altoona lost 52-35 in their recent league bout against Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA)
