Utah High School Basketball - Cedar Valley can't hold off Springville
January 3, 2024: Eagle Mountain, UT 84005 The Cedar Valley Aviators basketball team (Eagle Mountain, UT), was nudged 64-57 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT)
The Red Devils now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wasatch for a 5A Region 7 battle on Friday, January 5. Springville will battle a Wasps team coming off a 64-59 league loss to Timpview (Provo, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 5-5.
The Aviators (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Timpview (Provo, UT). The Thunderbirds come into the 5A Region 7 battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Timpview edged Wasatch (Heber City, UT), 64-59, in a league battle.
