California High School Basketball - Preuss UCSD falls to Coastal Academy
January 3, 2024: Oceanside, CA 92056 In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Coastal Academy Stingrays basketball team scored a nice 42-34 victory over the Preuss UCSD Tritons.
With the victory, Coastal Academy improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Stingrays host Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA) to play the Redhawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Mountain Empire won 36-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Horizon Prep (Rancho Santa Fe, CA)
Next up, the Tritons play the Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Preuss UCSD will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 64-32 non-league win over Gompers Prep Academy (San Diego, CA).
