January 3, 2024: Baton Rouge, LA 70816 Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA), 68-67 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Doyle upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Eagles in a 3A District 6 bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Parkview Baptist won 72-64 in their recent non-league bout against Springfield (Springfield, LA)
Next up, the Knights play the Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 72-64 non-league loss to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA).
