January 3, 2024: Englewood, NJ 07631 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs (Englewood, NJ) and the visiting Leonia Lions (Leonia, NJ), saw Dwight-Englewood's basketball squad wallop Leonia by a tally of 64-41.
With the victory, Dwight-Englewood improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ) to play the Royals in a North Jersey - Liberty challenge on Friday, January 5. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Ridgefield Memorial lost 64-58 in their recent league challenge against New Milford (New Milford, NJ)
Next up, the Lions play the Palisades Park Tigers (Palisades Park, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Leonia will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 68-32 league loss to Bogota (Bogota, NJ).
