Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV) and the visiting Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV), saw Elkins's basketball squad knock off Lincoln by a count of 56-45.

With the victory, Elkins upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5.
