California High School Basketball - Westchester knocked off by George Washington Prep
January 3, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90045 The George Washington Prep Generals basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Westchester Comets to 45 in the Generals non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Generals now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rolling Hills Prep for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. George Washington Prep will meet a Huskies team coming off a 66-50 non-league win over Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 16-4.
The Comets (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Dons enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Verdugo Hills was defeated by Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA), 66-50, in a non-league contest.
