New Jersey High School Basketball - University ripped by Newark Collegiate Academy
January 3, 2024: Newark, NJ 07108 The Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers basketball team scored 82 points and held the host University Phoenix to 31 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montclair for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Newark Collegiate Academy will meet a Mounties team coming off a 49-45 non-league loss to East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ). The Mounties record now stands at 3-3.
The Phoenix (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Verona (Verona, NJ). The Hillbillies enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Verona triumphed over Weequahic (Newark, NJ), 53-31, in a non-league contest.
