Washington, DC High School Basketball - Northwestern ripped by Parkside

January 3, 2024: Washington, DC 20019

The Parkside Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Northwestern Wildcats to 33 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Friendship Collegiate Academy for a PCSAA AA contest on Thursday, January 4. Parkside will battle a Knights team coming off a 69-52 non-league loss to Coolidge (Washington, DC). The Knights record now stands at 2-8.

The Wildcats (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD). The Mustangs enter the Prince George's County 4A contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Bladensburg was routed by Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD), 69-67, in a non-league contest.
