Virginia High School Basketball - James Madison fells Independence
January 3, 2024: Ashburn, VA James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Independence (Ashburn, VA), 34-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, James Madison upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Warhawks host Centreville (Clifton, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the play the Potomac Falls Panthers (Sterling, VA) in a bout, on Monday, January 8. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 56-19 non-league win over Dominion (Sterling, VA).
