January 3, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90006 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA), saw Loyola's basketball squad wallop Valley Christian by a tally of 60-25.
With the victory, Loyola improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign.
Next up, the Defenders confront the Maranatha Minutemen (Pasadena, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 5. Valley Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 56-20 league loss to Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA).
