Louisiana High School Basketball - Holden tipped by St. James
January 3, 2024: St. James, LA 70090 The St. James Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Holden Rockets to 48 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berwick for a 3A District 8 contest on Tuesday, January 9. St. James will meet a Panthers team coming off a 27-21 non-league win over Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 12-4.
The Rockets (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA). The Gators enter the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, South Terrebonne was nudged by Houma Christian (Houma, LA), 38-37, in a non-league contest.
