The Sullivan County Griffins basketball team (Laporte, PA), was overwhelmed 54-26 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Millville Quakers (Millville, PA)

The Quakers now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montgomery for a Mid-Penn - D4 battle on Monday, January 8. Millville will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 49-17 non-league loss to Meadowbrook Christian (Milton, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-6.

The Griffins (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest Area (Shickshinny, PA). The Rangers come into the Mid-Penn - D4 battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Northwest Area was overwhelmed by Benton (Benton, PA), 46-32, in a league battle.
