Westwood Wolverines (Westwood, MA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Norwood Mustangs (Norwood, MA), 48-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Westwood upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Hopkinton (Hopkinton, MA) to play the Hillers in a Tri-Valley bout on Friday, January 5. The Hillers come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Hopkinton won 44-28 in their recent league bout against Holliston (Holliston, MA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Medfield Warriors (Medfield, MA) in a Tri-Valley bout, on Friday, January 5. Norwood will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 81-33 league win over Ashland (Ashland, MA).
