The Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars basketball team (Henderson, NV), was overwhelmed 65-3 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Virgin Valley Bulldogs (Mesquite, NV)

The Bulldogs now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chaparral for a 3A Southern - Desert battle on Tuesday, January 9.

The Cougars (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Knights come into the 3A Southern - Desert battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Mater Academy East Las Vegas was overwhelmed by Needles (Needles, CA), 56-46, in a non-league battle.
