January 3, 2024: Ripley, WV 25271

The Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV), 40-26 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Sissonville went down by Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV), 42-36, in a non-league test.

The Cadets now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Union Local for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. Linsly will encounter a Jets squad coming off a 51-28 league win over Bellaire (Bellaire, OH). The Jets record now stands at 7-4.
