January 3, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28212 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), saw East Mecklenburg's basketball squad wallop Olympic by a tally of 52-2.
With the victory, East Mecklenburg improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Weddington (Matthews, NC) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-0.
Next up, the Trojans confront the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Olympic will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Pumas come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 29-21 non-league loss to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC).
