The Pisgah Bears basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Swain County Maroon Devils to 9 in the Bears non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Bears now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Pisgah will battle a Panthers team coming off a 54-9 non-league win over Andrews (Andrews, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.

The Maroon Devils (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Braves come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
