California High School Soccer - El Capitan knocks off Clairemont
January 3, 2024: San Diego, CA 92117 El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the host Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vaqueros confront the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. El Capitan will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Foothillers enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA).
The Chieftains now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host El Cajon Valley for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5.
