January 3, 2024: Woodbridge, CT 06525 In Wednesday's league challenge, the Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) ice hockey team nudged the host Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT), by a margin of 3-2.
The Rams now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wethersfield for a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. Cheshire will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Hand (Madison, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Haven (North Haven, CT). The Nighthawks enter the Southern Connecticut - DII challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, North Haven was edged by North Branford (North Branford, CT), 3-1, in a league challenge.
