Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - East Catholic drops to Simsbury
January 3, 2024: Simsbury, CT 06070 Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT) fans left the game thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT), 9-1 in a league match.
The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Falcons enter the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Xavier ran past Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT), 5-4, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Eagles encounter the Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) in a Central Connecticut - North match, on Saturday, January 6. East Catholic will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record.
