January 3, 2024: Morganton, NC 28655 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) and the visiting Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC), saw Patton's basketball squad overcome Brevard by a tally of 41-30.
With the victory, Patton improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 7-1.
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Brevard will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 80-19 non-league loss to Erwin (Asheville, NC).
