Washington High School Basketball - Toutle Lake holds off Castle Rock
January 3, 2024: Toutle, WA 98649 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Toutle Lake Ducks (Toutle, WA) and the visiting Castle Rock Rockets (Castle Rock, WA), saw Toutle Lake's basketball squad hold off Castle Rock by a tally of 41-38.
With the victory, Toutle Lake improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Ducks host Adna (Adna, WA) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Adna lost 61-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Napavine (Napavine, WA)
Next up, the Rockets confront the Columbia Bruins (White Salmon, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Castle Rock will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 53-39 non-league loss to Seton Catholic (Vancouver, WA).
