January 3, 2024: Ashburn, VA The Independence (Ashburn, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA), 49-37 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Potomac Falls notched a victory over Dominion (Sterling, VA), 52-29, in a non-league test.
The Warhawks now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Centreville for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4. James Madison will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to Battlefield (Haymarket, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.
