January 3, 2024: Menlo, WA 98561 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Willapa Valley Vikings (Menlo, WA) and the visiting Morton/White Pass Timberwolves (Morton, WA), saw Willapa Valley's basketball squad wallop Morton/White Pass by a count of 49-23.
With the victory, Willapa Valley upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Naselle (Naselle, WA) to play the Comets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Naselle won 37-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Pe Ell (Pe Ell, WA)
Next up, the Timberwolves play the Wahkiakum Mules (Cathlamet, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Morton/White Pass will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Mules come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 40-39 non-league loss to Onalaska (Onalaska, WA).
