The Natomas Nighthawks (Sacramento, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Wood Wildcats (Vacaville, CA), 78-71 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Nighthawks (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy (Sacramento, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Kennedy got by Fortune Early College (Sacramento, CA), 62-47, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Bradshaw Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6.
