Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX), 59-56 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Andrews advances its record to 13-8 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Liberty (Lubbock, TX) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 17-3. Liberty won 52-47 in their recent non-league match against Gordon (Gordon, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midland Legacy for a 6A Region I District 2 match on Friday, January 10.
