California High School Basketball - Antelope Valley trounced by Santa Monica
January 3, 2025: Santa Monica, CA 90405 Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Antelope Valley Antelopes (Lancaster, CA), 78-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Santa Monica advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Vikings travel to Inglewood (Inglewood, CA) to face the Sentinels in a Ocean match on Monday, January 6. The Sentinels enter the match with a record of 13-6. Inglewood won 95-82 in their recent non-league match against Westchester (Los Angeles, CA)
The Antelopes now own a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Clara for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Antelope Valley will face a Saints squad coming off a 74-61 non-league loss to Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Saints record now stands at 1-15.
