January 3, 2025: Hartshorne, OK 74547 Hartshorne Miners (Hartshorne, OK) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Atoka Wampus Cats (Atoka, OK), 72-31 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hartshorne advances its record to 7-2 on the year. The Miners travel to Heavener (Heavener, OK) to face the Wolves in a Black Diamond match on Friday, January 10. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 5-3.
The Wampus Cats now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broken Bow for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Atoka will face a Savages squad coming off a 87-57 non-league loss to Idabel (Idabel, OK). The Savages record now stands at 5-2.
