Illinois High School Basketball - Wheeling victorious over Berwyn/Cicero Morton
January 3, 2025: Cicero, IL 60804 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Wheeling Wildcats basketball team scored a good 40-29 triumph over the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs.
The Wildcats (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Leyden topped Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL), 79-74, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold contest, on Friday, January 10. Berwyn/Cicero Morton will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Blazers go into the contest with a 8-7 record after their 75-69 non-league win over Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL).
