River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Black Hills Wolves (Tumwater, WA), 85-66 in a non-league match.

With the victory, River Ridge advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Hawks host North Thurston (Lacey, WA) to face the Rams in a 3A Puget Sound match on Wednesday, January 8. The Rams enter the match with a record of 6-5. North Thurston lost 58-57 in their recent non-league match against Beamer (Federal Way, WA)

The Wolves now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mark Morris for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Black Hills will face a Monarchs squad coming off a 67-52 league win over Columbia River (Vancouver, WA). The Monarchs record now stands at 8-1.
